Max’s Jellycat Bunny

Max’s Jellycat Mr Blue Bunny was definitely in need of some help when his mum reached out to us! His ears had been shredded, his nose loved off and his paws were also in tatters.

I found a discarded teddy in a charity shop that had similar coloured plush and used sections of that to make new paws and patch the face where the nose had worn through. We took the decision to replace the ears with new material, so I adapted the arms of the second teddy and made them into ears. Some pink felt on the nose completed Mr Blue Bunny and he looked like a bunny again!

Max was very happy to have his soft and snuggly, restuffed bunny back. He has additional needs and we arranged it so that the work was done gradually over several days whilst he was at school so that he didn’t miss his bunny - they go more or less everywhere together!
