Ellie

Ellie went with her four year old owner to a sleepover, but unfortunately didn’t have the best time as the host’s dog took a liking to her and she ended up pretty much shredded from the head to chest. A plea was put out for help on our local Facebook group and I responded - always being up for a challenge!

She took some piecing together, but fortunately all the material was there. Each raw edge was stitched down onto felt to reinforce it as a scaffold and then the edges could be sewn to each other to remake the surface. After several hours of careful stitching, some new eyes and stuffing, Ellie was back to something approximating her pre-dog encounter self and her owner was delighted to be reunited!
