Vintage Ted #5

This little teddy is a jointed one made in the 1950s. His right eye was missing entirely and the left one had all it’s paint worn off. His limbs were holey and uneven due to old repairs and he was quite misshapen in places. I replaced the eyes with new glass ones and painted the backs of them amber as they would have been originally. The limbs were mended and new paw coverings added using a finely woven cotton material in a matching colour to the originals. The original pads were left underneath for future generations to find. His head was restuffed and properly shaped and new stuffing put into his tummy. He now looks a lot happier!
