Beautiful handmade serving board made from reclaimed Sapele wood. The wood was originally from a vintage bookcase and has been hand cut, shaped and sanded to reveal the beauty of the grain and to have a new life as a serving board for cheese or charcuterie. As a natural hardwood it should last for decades more to come!

It features a cut out triangular handle for comfort of use, and has interesting asymmetrical shape. The wood is treated with our handmade food safe wood butter (Tung oil, beeswax and carnauba wax) to polish it and bring out the coppery glow of the timber. The grain is absolutely breathtaking and shimmers in the light as the board is moved around. A statement piece for the dining table, but also a gorgeous chunk of wood in its own right as a display piece. It is hand decorated with a burned/pyrographed abstract design of curved intersecting lines.

The board measures approx 31x20x2cm and weighs around 880g. As with all natural and reclaimed materials, it may show signs of it's former life in terms of dings, dents, etc. These are all purely cosmetic, adding character and do not affect normal use.
