A5 slim green leather refillable notebook cover, made from a piece of thick (2.5mm) dark green leather.
This notebook is for someone who wants something a little out of the ordinary. When I looked at the piece of leather before making the cover I preferred the underside to the topside. It was mottled and marbled and a beautiful shade of green. So I made it inside out, and waxed it to give it a lovely, tactile finish. It will develop a patina a little more quickly, so if you’re desirous of character, this is one for you. I paired it with a rich yellow closure tag and black metal eyelets, with a silver one in the middle for a bit of extra oomph.
